Today I discovered a cool company called Cherry providing some much needed innovation to (drum roll) the car wash space. Surprising? Maybe not. It seems that nobody is safe from the broad sword of tech startups these days when you can order a car wash from your mobile phone. That’s the angle Cherry is taking with their on-demand car wash service where a wash is only a click and ~$30 bucks away. For now its on iOS only but Android is soon to come I’d imagine. I should probably add a section called “Surpises” for cool startups like Cherry looking to pop unexpected industries. (Had to do it, sorry)
